Ophthalmologist, Consultant Oculoplasty and Ocular oncology
Dr. Shirali Gokharu is a Consultant in Oculoplasty and Ocular Oncology at Nihar Netralaya, Indore. She graduated with distinction in ophthalmology from Sri Aurobindo Institue of Medical Sciences, Indore and completed her post-graduation (DNB) in Ophthalmology from Choithram Netralaya, Indore. She subsequently undertook a long-term fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Ocular Oncology at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi, where she was honored with the ‘Best Fellow Award 2023-2025’. An active researcher, she has authored over 15 publications in reputed peer reviewed national and international journals. She has presented her work through oral presentations at several national and international conferences. In 2024, she received the ‘International Travel Scheme’ grant from the Eye Cancer Foundation and won the ‘Best Paper Award’ at the International Society of Ocular Oncology meeting for her work on molecular markers and transcriptomic analysis of OSSN.
