His journey began in 1995, when he founded Nihar Netralaya as a small clinic at Gorakund Square, Indore, guided by a vision to make high-quality eye care accessible, compassionate, and technologically advanced. Over the years, this vision has grown into a respected centre delivering comprehensive and advanced ophthalmic services to generations of patients.

Education

Dr. Garg holds an MBBS and DOMS (Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery). Following his postgraduate training, he completed three years of advanced clinical training at the Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari, Gujarat. He further refined his surgical expertise through specialised training in phacoemulsification cataract surgery under Dr. Abhay Vasavada in Ahmedabad. His professional experience includes serving as a consultant ophthalmologist at Choithram Netralaya and Rajratan Hospital, Indore.
Committed to continual advancement, Dr. Garg pursued advanced training in refractive eye surgery (LASIK) under Dr. Rupal Shah in Vadodara and Dr. Jerry Tan in Singapore, enabling him to offer patients world-class vision correction solutions.

He also actively practices Femtosecond LASIK, with experience in more than 5,500 eyes, delivering safe, precise, and blade-free refractive outcomes.
